This regulated qualification aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.

Those gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of the contribution they may have in preventing the start and spread of fires.

Take this course as a classroom course with one of our approved instructors, as a virtual class using our remote training platform with a real instructor or online with marking and ID checks by a real instructor.  Gain the same regulated qualification whichever option you choose.

The cost of this course assumes that you are taking the full distance course and include your certificate cost which is emailed to you once you have completed the course, open response test and ID check.

This level 1 qualification is aimed at anyone who requires a course in fire safety. The qualification is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers regulations, the fire triangle, evacuation, fire equipment, good housekeeping, the law, training requirements, calling the fire service, fire doors, smoke alarms, risk assessing and precautions. We also offer a Level 2 qualification that training for Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals.

This qualification is ideal to give all members of staff basic fire training to increase awareness and cooperation in the event of a fire in the workplace. Awareness will reduce the risk of fires actually breaking out and therefore save lives.

Please be advised this course has a minimum age requirement of 16.

This course gives learners the opportunity to gain a formally recognised regulated qualification. If you require funding, a regulated qualification is often required. Phone us and we can advise if needed. If you choose our course leading to a regulated qualification, there are additional assessment criteria to be undertaken with an instructor and a small extra certification charge.
