Welcome to your TQUK regulated fire safety level 1 course which you can complete from home by completing this video online curses, an open response test and a Zoom meeting with our office. You will gain the full regulated TQUK qualification, the same as attending a face to face course. You will learn how to be a fire warden or fire marshal. In this category, we first look at how the course works and a little about the training you will receive. Then we look at the law relating to fire safety and fire and how you get hurt.
In this section, we look at the fire triangle and how this is important to understand to prevent fire taking hold. You will learn about the sources of ignition, arson and how fires can be controlled with active and passive fire protection. Various sources of ignition are covered like aerosols. Then we cover fire prevention by good housekeeping and staff awareness with training. Finally, we look at the dangers of smoke, fire alarms and activating and the testing of fire alarms.

This section details the different things you need to think about having as a result of your fire risk assessment including calling the fire service, fire hoses, evacuation, fire doors and smoke alarms. We also look at home smoke alarms and fire blankets.
